Hi there! If you've just stumbled across my very very tiny corner of the internet, then welcome.
My name is Kira. I'm a full-time homeschooling mom to my four boys, which is a role I never ever planned on having, but one God's grace is enabling and equipping me to do. I love coffee, books, geeky things and Jesus (not in that order, calm down), and when I first started this blog seven or so years ago it was not intended to really be for anyone but me. I never expected anyone to read it, much less strangers, and I've always jokingly said, "It's a blog about nothing. Like Seinfeld, only less funny."
I've been married to my husband since we were adorable yet naive little teenagers and we are coming up on our 15th anniversary this spring. I can honestly say I love him more now than I ever have before, which is a testimony because we had some rough years. Getting married and having kids young wasn't easy, but God has done an amazing work in our marriage and in our lives and I'm so very thankful for His intervention and His grace.
I like to blog about my crazy boys, my adventures in homemaking, how Jesus is changing me and what I am learning, and I might occasionally throw in a little homeschooling too. I'm not going to lie to you: this blog is not meant to be educational as I am flying by the seat of my pants most of the time. I'm frequently facetious and I prefer to see and blog about the humor in my life, because that's what keeps it real. If you choose to poke around and read some of the posts on here, take 'em with a grain of salt and best of luck. I am happy to have you.
