Multitudes on Mondays #111-#129

"It takes a full twenty minutes after your stomach is full for your brain to register satiation. How long does it take your soul to realize that your life is full?"

~ Ann Voskamp, 1000 Gifts of Praise

Blooms, so long asleep, finally here

Picnics in the backyard

Boys hunting bugs

First time at the park this year

Little golfers in training

Morning huggies

Little voices in the backseat, a glance in the rearview, "Mama, I seeeeee you!"

Two-year-old Papa's boy

Spunky, sassy, energetic ROAR as he leaps at me

Driving up to the window, hearing that the person in front of me bought my drink

Paying for the person behind me

Looking for a cure for one thing, accidentally finding the cure for something else

Talking in the dark on the street with girls who make me laugh

The garden box I've wanted for years taking shape in the backyard

Popping some cookie dough in the mouth of a boy who is supposed to be in bed

Sermons that echo exactly what I was reading that morning

Looking back, seeing how far He's brought me in the last two years

Preparing the heart for the hard eucharisteo, whenever that may be

Peace from fear
