We got married on spring break my freshman year of college.
Mid-terms Friday, wedding Saturday, boarded a plan to the Caribbean at 6 a.m. the next day, got home the following Sunday at midnight, and back to school at 8 a.m. I got A's on my midterms too. Cra-ZY.
Know what's crazier? Jarrod and I celebrated our 11th anniversary last Friday.
Appetizers, a movie, dinner out, dessert at home. Very exciting stuff.
If we're not careful, on our next anniversary we will be having the early-bird special at Denny's.
But that's how we roll, and we like it.
We kept the gifts simple: He bought me orchids for the bathroom and promised to keep them alive, I gave him food. Everybody's happy. I love this idea for an easy and consumable gift that I got from I Am Momma Hear Me Roar a while back.
I made my labels in Photoshop and then cut them out, but Cheri's tutorial has instructions for how to do it with simple snapshots and scrapbook paper.
See how I tricked him into displaying family photos at work? Every time he eats a sour-patch kid, he can think of us. C'mon, everybody say it together.... Awwwwwwwwwwww.
