I blogged about how hard it was to get into the class here. (It's the last paragraph in that post, so you can ignore the beginning if you choose).
Anyways, to get back to my point. For the last two years, I have been practicing and getting better with my photography, but editing is still a weakness. I can muddle my way through in Photoshop or in Aperture (when I had it... my trial ended and it's pricey, boo hoo) but it's not something that is easy or instinctual yet. One of my goals for 2011 was "Learn to edit... for reals."
So yesterday I got an email from Karen Russell (past student perks!) recommending the editing class developed by Erin Cobb, which starts tomorrow. Karen learned from Erin, uses her method, and loves it. Enough said. (Did I mention Karen Russell is one of my heroes? She is.)
The class, Clean Color, begins tomorrow and will have an introductory rate for five days only, after that the price goes up.
My first thought was "What a bummer, I'm sure we can't afford that."
I mentioned it to J anyways.
And he said fly.
Look out, editing, here I come.
