The other day Haydn said to me "I wish I lived in a world with no moms or dads or teachers, only Grandmas... because then I could have all the ice cream I wanted." I'm going to do a page using this ASAP.
I don't know when it happened, but some time in the last couple weeks my body flipped an internal switch and I can no longer drink hot coffee. When you break out the iced coffee at 6 a.m. you know summer has officially begun.
I bought Stacy Julian's new book PhotoFreedom and it has changed my scrapbook life forever. I read the entire thing the day it came in the mail and I can't stop thinking about it. I have all these different ways I've tried and failed to organize my photos, but this book has revolutionized my whole approach. I am so jazzed to put it into practice immediately (I went to Michael's the same day to buy my "supplies") and I've been talking about it to anyone who will sit still long enough. A lot of it is stuff that I have tried before but didn't really know what I was doing, so having it laid out step-by-step is really helpful. I love this system and I will never organize my scrapbooks chronologically again. Highly recommend it if you're trying to get a handle on the mass quantities of photos that come flooding into our lives thanks to digital photography.
